Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers.

Everything you need to know about CamelReel and how it works.

What is CamelReel?

CamelReel is a mobile app that turns your photos and videos into an animated map reel. You place your memories on a map, and the app animates the journey between them as a video you can share.

When can I download it, and on which devices?

CamelReel is coming soon to iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Check back here β€” the download buttons will go live at launch.

Do I need an account?

No. CamelReel has no sign-up and no accounts. You can start creating right away.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Your photos, videos, stories and routes stay on your device, and your reels are rendered on your device too.

Can I use both photos and videos?

Yes. You can mix photos and videos in the same story.

Is CamelReel free?

CamelReel is free to use with ads and some limits. A one-time Pro purchase unlocks 1080p export, no watermark, unlimited stops, faster encoding and an ad-free experience.

Which languages are supported?

English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Spanish.

Do I need an internet connection?

Map tiles are loaded online and cached, so you need a connection to see new areas of the map. Your own media is always stored locally.
